Services

I provide psychological assessment and therapy services to adult clients (age 19+) in English. The majority of my clients are Canadian Armed Forces, RCMP members, and Veterans, though my practice is open to anyone in the general public. I offer flexible appointment scheduling, including early morning, evening, and weekend appointments. My practice is entirely virtual until further notice. Clients have the ability to conveniently book appointments online and send me secure messages.

Psychological Assessment

I conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for a variety of purposes. All assessments include a record review, clinical interview, psychological testing, and feedback session upon completion of the evaluation.

Completion of Medical Questionnaires

I am able to complete the Medical Questionnaire: Psychiatric/Psychological Conditions (PEN 6248e) for Veterans Affairs Canada.

Individual Therapy

I use a variety of evidenced-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for depression and/or anxiety, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. I will work with you to develop a plan for therapy together.

There is a metaphor from ACT, which describes the relationship between therapist and client as two people climbing adjacent mountains in life. Each has their own unique struggles, experiences, and expertise.

If you ever find yourself “stuck” while climbing your mountain, I might be able to look over from my own mountain and offer you a different perspective. I will always respect that you know yourself best: You know what matters to you, where you’ve been, and where you want to go. There is no person who is “up” or another who is “down.” Just two people, climbing our mountains in life and using our training, perspectives, and experiences to keep moving forward. Together.

Metaphor adapted from:
Hayes, S. C., Strosahl, K. D., & Wilson, K. G. (1999). Acceptance and commitment therapy: An experiential approach to behavior change. New York: Guilford Press.

I am committed to providing a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for all people, regardless of race, creed, colour, ethnicity, body size, national origin, immigration status, religion, sex, sexual orientation, socioeconomic class, gender identity, gender expression, age, physical or mental ability, veteran status, military obligations, relationship(s) and marital status.
