About Me

I am originally from the United States and began working with Canadian Armed Forces, RCMP, and veterans in 2018. Prior to moving to Canada, I worked with American military veterans at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center in Wisconsin. I have a strong background in psychological diagnostic evaluation, including assessment of trauma and stressor-related disorders; and experience providing evidence-based treatments for depression, anxiety, insomnia, and PTSD to veteran populations.

In addition having a doctoral degree in psychology, I have a juris doctorate (law degree). I am passionate about ethical psychological practice and the intersection between law and psychology. Outside of private practice, I am faculty at British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), where I teach psychology and Human Behaviour. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, traveling and spending time with my family.
